This study reports the resequencing data of Aritaunkong, a newly developed recombinant inbred line (RIL) of soybean (Glycine max) that exhibits high levels of epicatechin and other bioactive flavonoids. Aritaunkong was developed by crossing IT109098, a landrace, with K7-2, an interspecific hybrid between a landrace and wild soybean (Glycine soja). Within the derived RIL population, Aritaunkong was selected for its superior antioxidant properties, high epicatechin content, and significant inhibition of MMP-1 secretion in human dermal fibroblasts, indicating its potential for anti-aging and functional food applications. Compared to conventional cultivars like Jinpung, Aritaunkong contains unique procyanidin and quercetin derivatives absent in standard cultivated soybeans.
