Crucihimalaya himalaica is a close relative of Arabidopsis with typical QTP distribution. In this study, we performed RNA-seq to obtain most transcript sequences of C. himalaica. The positively selected genes (PSGs) in C. himalaica related to environmental adaptation will be identified by comparative genomics with closely related species whose genome have been sequenced. We aim to reveal how this Arabidopsis relative adapts to complicated extreme environments on QTP at genome/transcriptome level.
