The raw file contains 3D X-ray tomographic image of a termite nest constructed by <i>Trinervitermes trinervoides</i> termites. The nest was collected from Nguekokh, Senegal during early October 2010. The nest was in Savanna type vegetation, and was exposed to the sun.<br>The file size is 512, 512 and 369 pixels, with pixel size 0.55, 0.55 and 0.6 mm in X, Y and Z direction respectively. The file format is 8-bit .raw, and can be loaded on any imaging software including the open source software 'ImageJ'. The binary image contains 0 as pores and 1 as solid phase.<br>
