VPRS 16488 Transcripts of Proceedings

This series consists of the transcripts of proceedings of the 2009 Victorian Bushfires Royal Commission. The hearings ran between 11 May 2009 and 26 May 2010. There was a directions hearing on 20 April 2009, which is also included in this series. A verbatim transcription was taken of the proceedings of each hearing day and distributed to the parties on that day. The transcript was typically made available on the Commission's website the morning after the hearing, with redactions to protect personal information and to comply with suppression orders. This series contains both the redacted and unredacted transcripts. The transcripts are in digital format.
