资源简介:
This dataset is of traits measured from ~600 juvenile coral reef damselfish (species: Acanthochromis polyacanthus) after differing lengths of exposure from hatching to heatwave conditions. The traits measured were escape performance, standard length, weight, crititcal thermal maximum, and sex.Clarifying some of the column headers in the dataset:Fish: unique fish IDUqRep: unique fish tank IDTreatment: C = 108 days exposure to control temperatures post hatching and 3d = 3 days, 7d = 7 days, 30d = 30 days, H = 108 days exposure to +2C post hatchingFamily: four different family linesTestingT: performance/testing temperature of escape response trials in CelsiusW: wet weight in gSL: standard length in mmStartT: starting temperature for critical thermal maximum trials in CelsiusCTM: critical thermal maximum in CelsiusThe rest of the columns pertain to the escape performance traits.Video: unique escape performance trial IDStimdist: distance from stimulus on impact in mmStimdirect: orientation from stimulus on impact in degreesStimdirectR: orientation from stimulus on impact in radianLatencyMS: time from stimulus impact until response in millisecondsDuratMS: duration of C-start escape response in millisecondsDist: distance travelled of C-start escape response in mmVeloMS: mean speed of C-start escape response in m s-1MaxVeloMS: maximum speed of C-start escape response in m s-1EndDirect: direction after C-start escape response in degreesEndDirectR: direction after C-start escape response in radian
