VPRS 19769 Legal Advice

This series consists of legal advice provided to the Office of the Special Investigator (OSI) (VA 5326).   The records document legal advice on conduct and powers of investigation, and the management of legal matters to which the OSI was a party or was granted leave to appear. Legal advice was provided by internal and external lawyers regarding investigations, proceedings, and interpretation of issues. The records also contain documents relating to matters the OSI was a party to or sought/was granted leave to appear in, including applications, briefs, correspondence, originating motions, affidavits, orders, summonses, and transcripts.
