Data from: An unusually deep corallimorph barren on a remote coral reef in the south-central Red Sea

Corallimorphs are opportunistic cnidarians that can compete with
reef-building corals for substrate and thrive in disturbed conditions. We
describe a corallimorph barren on a remote coral reef in the southern Red
Sea across four depths. The data included here are annotations from
phototransects  at 5, 15, 20, and 30 depths. For each depth, 31
photos were taken of the substrate. Using CoralNet, 50 random stratified
points were generated for each image. Benthic categories were assigned by
manually annotating each point. This dataset includes the annotation data
for each of the 50 points for all images.
