资源简介:
Transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs) are a class of material that exhibit diverse properties such as superconductivity, charge density waves, and several types of magnetism. Intercalated TMDCs of the form M_{d}XS2, where M is a 3d metal, have been of particular interest when the intercalant concentration reaches a critical value of d=1/3. Above this threshold the system becomes noncentrosymmetric and therefore able to host topological magnetic excitations. Here we propose to study the influence of stoichiometry in the system Fe_{d}TaS2, for d=0.15, 0.26 and 0.46. We will probe the evolution of the magnetic interactions, phase transitions and dynamics from a local perspective. This project forms part of a wider project using muSR and DFT to probe this series of TMDCs.
