Characterization of the complete chloroplast genome Camellia tienii (Theaceae) and its relatives

In this study, we utilized NGS to sequence the cp genome of Camellia tienii, an endemic Camellia species in Vietnam, collected in Vietnam, then comparing with published cp genomes of Camellia species distributed in or nearby Vietnam to identify its distinctive genomic features. This information holds valuable implications for the taxonomy, botanical identification, breeding, and conservation programs of Camellia tienii in Vietnam.
