The dataset corresponds to the research article "An assessment of the biocontrol efficiency on Rubus alceifolius invasion: impacts on the recovery of tropical forest plant communities in Réunion Island (Mascarene archipelago)".

Data_plant_species_recorded:
The data has been recorded in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015. For each year the name of the species was recorded and listed as code, in each patch having a number and the field record provide with the presence of the species within the patch.

Data_list_of_plant_species:
Each plant species has a code, the species name and its status (there it is Native or Non-native) to Réunion Island
