RNA-seq of human oligodendrocytes derived from transdifferentiated fibroblasts and primary donors

One-step reprogramming of human fibroblasts into oligodendrocytes. We characterized the expression profile of human oligodendrocytes derived using a new protocol for the direct transdifferentiation of human fibroblasts into oligodendrocytes. Direct conversion of fibroblasts was induced by ectopic overexpression of SOX10, OLIG2 and NKX6.2. The aim of the experiment was to characterise the transcriptional response following differentiation and to compare it with that of primary oligodendrocytes.
