Study of genetically similar strains of Xanthomonas arboricola pv. pruni collected in South America that show variable susceptibility to bacteriophage infections. The goal is to better understand the genetic mechanisms underlying bacteriophage susceptibility in this plant pathogen for further characterization of phage-bacteria interactions.
