The influence of attenuated solar radiation from vineyard floor on Cabernet Sauvignon transcriptomic profiles

This study applied black geotextile inter-row mulch in a commercial Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard located in the north foot of Mt. Tianshan in two consecutive vintages (2016-2017) to attenuate reflected solar radiation from the vineyard floor. Grape samples collected at three phenological stages (pre-veraison, mid-veraison, and harvest) in 2016-2017 were used for RNA extraction and RNA sequencing. The objective of this study was to investigate the influence of attenuated reflected solar radiation on grape transcriptomic profiles under a semi-arid climate.
