Bradysia coprophila General Transcriptome. Bradysia coprophila strain:Holo2

Poly-A RNA was isolated individually from both sexes of the fungus gnat, Bradysia coprophila, at multiple stages: embryos, larvae, pupae, and adults. Strand-specific, paired-end RNA-seq libraries were prepared in 2-3 replicates each. All datasets were combined to perform a de novo transcriptome assembly with Trinity, which is presented in this BioProject. This transcriptome assembly was used as expression evidence in the Maker2 gene annotation pipeline. The goal was to capture as many genes and transcript isoforms as possible across the sexes and life stages of Bradysia coprophila. Therefore, it is referred to as Bradysia coprophila General Transcriptome version 1.0 (Bcop_GenTrans_v1.0).
