Richard Harris published a checklist of lichens of New York State in 2004 (doi: 10.5962/p.381842) that did not include individual citations of the specimens that had been examined for the study. The original data for the study consisted of two binders of handwritten notes where specimens that had been examined were listed individually for each species. These notes were scanned on 19.December.2025 and are uploaded here to provide an electronic supplement to the original publication from 2004. These notes are as the author left them and include some additions or updates to the original dataset from 2004. The scanned pages are arranged alphabetically by taxon name and the files are organized alphabetically. The original handwritten notes are deposited in the Botany Department files of the Research & Collections Division of the New York State Museum in Albany, NY.
