ZmCLCa in Transgenic Arabidopsis thaliana

We found that the protein had a voltage-gated chlorine ion channel structure domain and subcellular localization result showed that the protein was located on the cell membrane. Under 200 mmol/L KNO3 processing conditions, the content of NO3- in transgenic Arabidopsis of strain was obviously higher than that in wild Arabidopsis. Therefore, ZmCLCa gene likely played an important role in the process of nitrogen absorption of maize.
