Elk Home Range - Sams Neck - 2021-2023 [ds3170]

Home range contours for Rocky Mountain elk (Cervus canadensis nelsoni) developed by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) for the Sam’s Neck herd of the Siskiyou Elk Management Unit (EMU) in Siskiyou County, California and Klamath County, Oregon. The population-level home range was developed in Migration Mapper with Brownian bridge movement models using GPS locations from collared elk. High use (50 percent) and full home range use (99 percent) contours are presented.
