Data gathered during the master thesis titled: "Navigational Ability in Hyperbolic Space: A Study in VR". The research objective is to investigate how navigational training in a hyperbolic environment influences navigational performance in this environment and the understanding of its hyperbolic properties. This is done with a user study which uses the application Holonomy VR and requires participants to fill in a survey. The data includes gathered data by Holonomy VR during the user study, the filled in survey responses, the notes taken during the study and the release of Holonomy VR for Android (Meta Quest) and Windows. The total number of participants is 66.
本数据集采集自题为《双曲空间(hyperbolic space)中的导航能力:虚拟现实(VR)研究》的硕士学位论文。本研究的核心目标为探究双曲环境下的导航训练将如何影响受试者在该环境中的导航表现,以及对其双曲空间特性的理解。本研究通过用户实验开展,实验采用Holonomy VR应用,并要求受试者填写调查问卷。数据集包含实验期间Holonomy VR采集的实验数据、受试者填写的问卷回复、实验过程中记录的实验笔记,以及适配安卓(Meta Quest)与Windows平台的Holonomy VR应用发布包。本次实验共招募66名受试者。
