Usage of “Daoist Medicine” in Primary and Secondary Sources 「道教醫學」和「道醫」的出現率於現代和前現代文獻

************Stanley-Baker,2019,Daoyi.instances.in.Kanripo.xlsx contains all 112 instances where the characters 道 and 醫 are colocated as 道醫 in the pre-modern text corpus Kanripo.org. Each of the instances is examined for sentence structure, and given punctuation, demonstrating that no instance of the term occurs in the entire collection. This indicates that the term 道醫 (the literary Chinese equivalent of the modern concept of Daoist Medicine, 道教醫學), was not an intellectual category in pre-modern China. Kanripo.org is the largest open-access, corpus of scholarly quality transcriptions of pre-modern texts. Each search result links directly to the Kanripo collection, and the primary quotes can be further examined there. **********Daojiao.yixue.articles_CNKI_2019.xlsx describes all full-text available journal articles which reference the modern term 道教醫學 in the scholarly journal database, Chinese Journals Online, CNKI.net. Figures downloaded on January 20, 2019. This data forms the basis for figure 1 in the article, and ranges from 1983 to 2018. Also described in another worksheet, but not reflected in the chart in the corresponding article, are eleven dissertations concerning 道教醫學 submitted between 2006 and 2017.
