This dataset provides official figures of fruit and vegetable (F&V) discards for Spain for the period 2018-2024. Data are from FEGA (Fondo Español de Garantía Agraria) database from the Ministerio de Agricultura, Pesca y Alimentación. The database also contains coefficients for water and carbon footprint. With this data, we have calculated the water and carbon footprint of official F&V discards. These estimations are also part of this database.
