According to a 2024 survey, around 96 percent of the interviewed digital music consumers in Mexico were aware of YouTube Music. Unlike its freely accessible version, the platform's subscription-based format was slightly less popular in the country, although more accepted than the service's Premium version. Around 61 percent of respondents claimed to use the video platform's music-focused version, while 51 percent of respondents said they were likely to use it again. Additionally, about 65 percent of respondents said they like YouTube Music, while 51 percent of Mexican video-on-demand consumers had heard about YouTube in the media, on social media, or in advertising over the past four weeks.
