Predictors of environmental efficiency in crops farms: interactions and non-linearities within the nexus of social, economic and natural factors

Data include results of the Farm Accountancy Data Network (FADN) at farm level from 2022, enriched with unique socio-economic data collected by the Institute of Agricultural and Food Economics - National Research Institute, which are not available in the public FADN database. Dataset focuses on farms specialising in crop production. This includes farms where at least 2/3 of the Standard Output is derived from the production of field crops. The sample consists of data for 2107 small and medium-sized agricultural holdings whose Standard Output (SO) is between 5 000 and 50 000 euro. Farms which reared animals in addition to crops were excluded.
