NIED Hi-net is a high-sensitivity seismograph network database operated by the National Research Institute for Earth Science and Disaster Prevention (NIED) of Japan. It provides seismic information across Japan, including hypocenter locations, waveform data, station details and more, for seismic research and disaster prevention. The database also includes the earthquake mechanism solution catalog and maximum amplitude distribution maps provided by the AQUA system.
