This series consists of City Engineer’s reports to the Grafton Municipal Council. These reports relate to road and bridge construction and maintenance, staffing, sanitary, sewerage and drains, kerbing and guttering, footpaths, and baths.The reports were issued at least monthly and arranged chronologically in bound volumes. The Engineer was known as the City Overseer until February 1950.Custody History These files were in the custody of Clarence Valley Council until 18 August 2005 when they were transferred to the University of New England and Regional Archives.
