Global Gene Expression profile in homozygous frk-1(ok760) mutants versus wildtype in the nematode, Caenorhabditis elegans using RNA Seq

Homozygous frk-1(ok760) mutants arrest growth at the L1 stage of post-embryonic development, but survive to up to three days and are severely uncoordinated (Mila, et al., Genetics 2015). We collected larvae at 24 hours post fertilization, when wildtype larvae have transitioned into the L2 stage but frk-1 mutants remain the same size as L1 larvae, to examine global changes in gene expression due to the loss of frk-1 expression in mutant animals.
