The differences in microbial diversity among different habitats of mangrove Marine aquaculture ponds

Bacterial community composition varied significantly across the three habitats. Gammaproteobacteria was the dominant class in all habitats, comprising 32-38% of the relative abundance together with Bacteroidia and Alphaproteobacteria. At the phylum level, Proteobacteria was most abundant (46-53%), followed by Desulfobacterota and Bacteroidota. In contrast, genus-level communities showed high diversity, with the top 10 genera accounting for only 7.5-11.2% of total abundance. Among these, Woeseia and Ignavibacterium were consistently dominant across all habitats.
