Whole genome Illumina HiSeq sequence of Salmonella enterica isolates from vegetables

Fresh vegetables have a close association with foodborne disease outbreaks, Salmonella isolates from vegetables were characterized in details through whole-genome sequencing. The results highlight the importance of monitoring of foodborne pathogens in fresh vegetables.
