Marine Microbiome Raw sequence reads

Microbial communities (MC) are grassroots of the marine ecosystems and main components of bioremediation and recovery from natural (hurricanes, floods) and human-associated environmental disruptions. Changes in MC can cause domino effects on overall productivity (fisheries), the safety of the marine environment (presence of pathogenic microorganisms in recreational areas) and can have dramatic effects on coastal area's economic and social activities. We report monitoring of microbial compositions from 2016-2019 across Galveston Bay, East Bay, and Trinity bays.
