Revegetation and Rehabilitation - Pimpama River Erosion Control Project

Pimpama River Erosion Control Project incorporates the combined resources of Land Care, Holcim and Twin Rivers. The project aims to deliver a 22 week project targeted at re-vegetation and regeneration of the Pimpama River and natural environment. It will provide participants the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in industries such as: conservation, land management, horticulture and environmental studies. Throughout the project, participants will gain skills such as; native plant identification, weed identification, weed control techniques, basic construction skills, landscaping and planting skills. They will also gain knowledge and understanding in work readiness including: team work, daily planning , and job preparation skills.
