The milk microbiota has now been well documented in various hosts, and it has been found to be influenced by host genetic factors. In this study, we made an effort to delve into the milk microbiota of healthy Kasaragod Dwarf cattle and compare it to that of Holstein crossbred cattle, utilizing high throughput DNA sequencing of the 16S rRNA gene.
