资源简介:
DNA methylation patterns reflect the status of individual tissues in mammals, including factors such as cell composition, age, and local environment. These patterns can be leveraged to predict an individual's health status. The aim of this experiment is to discover the signature of lymphoma using DNA methylation from blood samples of dogs. We compared whole-genome DNA methylation data from individuals diagnosed with lymphoma to that from a control group. After adjusting for differences in age and breed, we detected differentially methylated regions. Overall design: Whole-genome bisulfite sequencing was performed with whole blood obtained from twenty individual dogs diagnosed with lymphoma. The breeds of subjects were Poodle (Toy,Standard), Shiba, Dachshund (Miniature), Bichon Frise, Boston Terrier, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Chihuahua, French Bulldog, Golden Retriever, Norfolk Terrier, Papillon, Pug, Shetland Sheepdog, and Yorkshire Terrier.
