Recovery of rare soil bacterial taxa through culture-dependent and metataxonomic approaches

This project investigates the recovery of rare bacterial taxa from agricultural soil using culture-dependent approaches combined with 16S rRNA gene sequencing and metataxonomic analysis. Different culture media were compared to evaluate their effectiveness in accessing the rare biosphere. The generated data include 16S rRNA gene sequences from isolated strains and corresponding amplicon sequencing datasets.
