资源简介:
The High Temperature Requirement (HtrA) chaperone/protease is involved in the stress-response of the anthrax-causing pathogen Bacillus anthracis. Resilience to oxidative stress is essential for manifestation of B. anthracis pathogenicity. We submitt transcriptome data sets detailing global gene expression in B. anthracis wild-type and htrA-disrupted strains following H2O2-induced oxidative stress. B. anthracis parental DVollum (acapsular and nontoxinogenic, referred as wild type, wt) and an htrA disrupted strain, were grown in Brain-Heart Infusion broth at 37°C to mid log phase and split into twin cultures in the presence or absence of 3 mM H2O2. Cells were collected from the initial culture before treatment (WT denoted sample 1 and DhtrA denoted sample 2) and 10 minutes post treatment-without H2O2-(WT sample denoted 3 and DhtrA denoted sample 5), and with H2O2 (WT sample denoted 4 and DhtrA denoted sample 6). The project includes 14 sets of transcriptomic data: Samples 1, 2, 3 and 5, each one in biological douplicates; Samples 4 and 6, in biological triplicates. Total RNA was extracted using the RNeasy kit (Qiagen). RNA-seq was performed in-house (IIBR, Ness-Zionna, Israel).
