Digital Archive from an Archaeological Evaluation at the Mount, Frome, Somerset, June 2024

The collection comprises site images, GIS data, and spreadsheets from an archaeological evaluation at land south of the Mount, Frome, Somerset. The works were carried out by Cotswold Archaeology in June 2024. The evaluation recorded a Late Mesolithic-Early Neolithic pit containing worked flints and domestic hearth waste. Part of a possible prehistoric ring ditch was also recorded. A further ditch, potentially pre-medieval in date, was also present. Three possible post-medieval quarry pits were also recorded.
