资源简介:
Phytophthora agathidicida is a host specific pathogen that is devastating the ecologically and culturally significant kauri tree in Aotearoa, New Zealand. G protein coupled receptors (GPCR) expressed by P. agathidicida are important for chemotaxis, sporulation, and infection, and could be the target of drugs that prevent or treat infection in kauri trees. As well as typical GPCRs, Phytophthora species expresses a range of atypical GPCRs, referred to as GPCR-bigrams, where the transmembrane receptor is fused to one of 6 enzyme domains. P. agathidicida GPCRs and GPCR-bigrams are poorly understood at a molecular level, with no structural data or ligand identified for any of its GPCRs. In this work we identified a set of 29 GPCRs and GPCR-bigrams from P. agathidicida sequence data
