Dataset and Python code supporting "Forecasting different types of avalanches based on snowpack and snowfall/snowmelt conditions on the Southeastern Tibetan Plateau"

This repository contains the dataset and Python scripts supporting the study entitled “Forecasting different types of avalanches based on snowpack and snowfall/snowmelt conditions on the Southeastern Tibetan Plateau”.The dataset includes meteorological indicators, snowpack variables, avalanche-type labels, binary avalanche-occurrence records, and the positive and negative samples used for statistical modelling. The accompanying Python scripts reproduce the SMLM and MOLM logistic regression models, leave-one-out cross-validation, model-performance evaluation, receiver operating characteristic analysis, and the principal figures and tables reported in the manuscript.Detailed variable definitions, units, software requirements, and execution instructions are provided in the README file.
