Italy: impact on the voting choice in the local elections in 2017

This survey illustrates the aspects that had the greatest impact on the voting choices of Italians in the local elections in June 2017. According to data, for 64 percent of the voters the most important aspect was the choice of the candidate (mayor or director). 36 percent of the citizens decided to vote on the basis of their party membership. The municipal elections were held in Italy on Sunday 11 June 2017 in 1004 municipalities.The second ballot for the direct election of the mayors took place on Sunday 25 June 2017.
