Processed Acoustic Backscatter and Swath Bathymetry Data from the Mariana Trough Spreading Center Spreading acquired during R/V Falkor expedition FK161129 (2016)

This data set was acquired with a Kongsberg Maritime EM302 Multibeam Sonar during R/V Falkor expedition FK161129 conducted in 2016 (Chief Scientist: Dr. David Butterfield). These data files are of MBSystem-compatible format and include Acoustic Backscatter and Swath Bathymetry data that were processed after acquisition. This data was quality controlled by Mollie Celnick of the MGDS Team for inclusion in the Global Multi-Resolution Topography (GMRT) Synthesis (version 3.4).
