The MTS Kion Implicit Contextualised Sequential Dataset is a movie recommendation dataset developed by MTS and the Higher School of Economics. It comprises 5,476,251 interaction records from 962,179 users, covering 15,706 distinct items. The dataset captures implicit interaction details including users' watch time, playback duration and view percentage, alongside users' demographic characteristics and rich metadata of the included movies. The data was collected between March 13 and August 22, 2021, and underwent minimal preprocessing to safeguard user privacy. This dataset is suitable for research on the diversity, novelty and unexpectedness of recommendation systems, as well as addressing the cold start problem.
