16S amplicon sequencing of Hydra oligactis post lipopolysaccharide exposure treatment

This project examines the bacterial community of the freshwater cnidarian Hydra oligactis after lipopolysaccharide (LPS) exposure. 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing was used to compare microbiota composition between treated and control polyps. The study provides insight into microbial shifts under immune challenge conditions.
