Transient hot-wire (THW) measurements in water: analytical, numerical and experimental heat-transfer analysis of a low-cost transducer
收藏资源简介:
Raw two-terminal voltage records of a low-cost, hand-made transient hot-wire (THW) transducer (single platinum wire, 75 µm nominal diameter, 31.2 mm heated span) in distilled water. Two sessions were acquired in 2016: one in an ice–water bath (0.5–1.0 A) and one at room temperature (0.7–1.1 A), sampled every 2 ms for about 3.5 s. The source current was verified but not recorded, and the probe was positioned by hand. The dataset contains the original 2016 workbooks, the records extracted as CSV, and a Python script that reduces them to thermal conductivity with an automatic fitting-window selection; the script reproduces Table 1 of the associated article. It also includes the MATLAB code of the radial and axisymmetric thermofluid models and of the GUM/Monte Carlo uncertainty analysis, with precomputed results. Measured data and simulated results are kept in separate files and labelled as such. Associated article: A.G. Ostrogorsky, R.
