This data set comprises mineral and whole-rock geochemical data on basalts, gabbros and peridotites from IODP Expedition 345 and ODP Leg 147 at Hess Deep, eastern equatorial Pacific. The excel file ‘Data File Inventory’ outlines the contents of all 48 files in the repository. The acquisition of analytical data was made possible by funding from the Australian IODP Office.
