We investigated lateral vestibulospinal tract (LVST) excitability changes in a dynamic postural task and their relationships with postural control change. Healthy young adults performed a dynamic balance or static task, and the head jerk was evaluated during the tasks. LVST excitability was determined by the change rate in the soleus H-reflex amplitude with galvanic vestibular stimulation (GVSH). The center of pressure (COP) was examined in the eyes closed/foam rubber condition.
