资源简介:
The results shown include Time-Frequency analysis results (Inter-Trial Phase Locking -ITPL) and Temporal Spectral Evolution-TSE) on EEG data collected from 24 native-speaking Polish adults and 24 native-speaking English adults (BESA Research software). EEGs were collected as participants listened to same and different spoken nonword pairs in an attend and a passive listening condition. EEG data collection for listening conditions occurred on separate days (96 participant EEGs). This EEG- Time-Frequency data set is in response to the first nonword in the nonwords pairs. The nonwords began with the sound sequences \"pt\", \"pet\", \"st\" and \"set\" (The vowel was a schwa, a short \"e\"). For the attend condition, participants performed a behavioral task to the second nonword in the nonwords pairs (See excel form- Description and Behavioral Results for details about the Syllable Identification task, stimuli and participants). For the passive condition, participants were simply instructed to listen to the stimuli. A source localization model (BESA Research software) identified 17 source-level channels (5 dipole channels 1. STP-L = ACN1-L; 2. STP-R = ACN1-R; 3. STG-L = ACP2-L; 4. STG-R = ACP2-R; 5 Cingulate Midline (CM); and 12 regional source channels). Note that regional source channels identified can provide important information and using the term noise channels was misleading. Spoken nonword pairs were presented free field through speakers placed 45 degree angles from the participant's head. Two seconds separated each spoken nonword pair (Inter-trial interval) and 250 ms separated the nonwords within each pair.
