Photo-pigment concentrations in phytoplankton assemblages collected from the Canadian Arctic Archipelago Sept-Oct 2022.

Cellular pigment concentrations provide useful physiological information on the photosynthetic harvesting and photoprotective strategies of phytoplankton and can be used to characterize samples as high-light or low-light acclimated. Further, relative pigment abundances are taxa-specific, so pigment concentrations can be used to describe the taxonomic composition of samples. These data were collected for taxonomic ID purposes and to describe the relative light acclimation status of samples.
