An EST sequencing project for Bemisia tabaci was carried out by researchers at the USDA-ARS U.S. Horticultural Research Laboratory, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Volcani Center in Israel, and the University of Arizona. 9,110 ESTs were generated from five different cDNA libraries. The set of sequences has been microarrayed for use in large-scale gene expression analyses. A sequence database is available online to search the dataset and annotations (Whitefly sequence and annotations database, password: guests).
