资源简介:
Abstract: This dataset contains Holocene paleomagnetic data from a sediment core (RS15-GC57) collected from Robertson Bay, northwestern Ross Sea, Antarctica (71°32.27′S, 170°03.54′E; 344 m water depth), presented in Truax et al. (2025). Further details on the age model and Holocene depositional environment in Robertson Bay are available in Truax et al. (2024).

The following tabular data presents paleomagnetic measurements at different depth intervals from core RS15-GC57. Columns are defined as follows:
- Depth (m): Core depth in meters - 30mT NRM (A/m): Natural remanent magnetization at 30mT demagnetization - sARM (A/m): Saturation anhysteretic remanent magnetization - kARM (A/m × 10⁻³): Anhysteretic remanent magnetization susceptibility - Magnetic susceptibility (SI × 10⁻⁵): Bulk magnetic susceptibility (Truax et al., 2024)- 30mT NRM/kARM: Relative paleointensity calculated as the ratio of NRM to kARM - kARM/k: Ratio of kARM to magnetic susceptibility - MDF demagnetization (mT): Median destructive field of demagnetization - Age (cal yr BP): Calibrated radiocarbon age in years before present (Truax et al., 2024)- PCA dec. (deg): ChRM Fisher mean declination - PCA inc. (deg): ChRM inclination - PCA MAD3: Maximum angular deviation for PCA - UPMag Slope RPI: Relative paleointensity calculated via the UPmag slope fit method (Xuan and Channell, 2009) - UPMag R value: R value from the UPMag analysis
