Part of the EPS Research multi‑epoch kinematic platform: Full datasets, cross‑epoch corpora, executable examples, and the Astro‑Extractor are available at https://github.com/eps-research/rag-corpus-series. # Unified Galaxy HI Rotation Curve Corpus (v7.0)**SPARC + THINGS + LITTLE THINGS + WALLABY DR2**Flynn, D.C. (EPS Research) | ORCID: 0000-0002-2768-6650 | davidflynn@eps-research.com---## Summary**Version update (v7.0):** Full schema normalization across all four surveys.JSON schema harmonized (all surveys now use a unified `data` key with standardcolumn names). New JSONL corpus file added as the primary RAG/LLM deliverable.Flat CSV/XLSX expanded from 29 to 38 columns with provenance, kinematic model, and pipeline-readiness flags. Scientific scope unchanged.A unified corpus of **8,963 spatially resolved HI rotation curve measurementsacross 423 galaxies** from four major surveys, plus kinematic metadata for 15additional THINGS galaxies (438 total). Designed for both traditional numericalanalysis and LLM retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines. All radii in kpc, all velocities in km/s. Kinematic parameters verified againstscanned primary tables. Two-tier quality system: Tier 1 (hand-curated, per-pointuncertainties) and Tier 2 (automated WALLABY pipeline).| Survey | Galaxies | Data Points | Tier | Reference ||--------|----------|-------------|------|-----------|| SPARC | 175 | 3,391 | 1 | Lelli et al. (2016), AJ 152, 157 || THINGS | 34 (19 w/data) | 2,110 | 1 | de Blok et al. (2008), AJ 136, 2648 || LITTLE THINGS | 26 | 1,716 | 1 | Oh et al. (2015), AJ 149, 180 || WALLABY DR2 | 203 | 1,746 | 2 | Deg et al. (2022); Murugeshan et al. (2024) || **Total** | **438** | **8,963** | | |---## Files- **rotation_curve_corpus_v7.json** — Master JSON (~2.0 MB). Single structured document with all 438 galaxies, nested per-ring data, metadata, column definitions, and quality annotations. Authoritative source. Schema fully harmonized in v7.0: all surveys use a unified `data` key with standard column names (Rad, Vrot, Vdisp).- **rotation_curve_corpus_v7.jsonl** — RAG Corpus (new in v7.0). One JSON object per line, one galaxy per line, 438 lines total. Same scientific content as the master JSON in a streaming format optimized for LLM retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines and vector database ingestion. Includes additional fields: kinematic_model, ingest_mode, omega_ready, has_vgas_profile, has_stellar_mass, stellar_mass_method, distance_method, corpus_version, corpus_source.- **rotation_curve_corpus_v7_flat.csv** — Catalog table (438 rows, 38 columns). One row per galaxy with summary statistics for filtering and sample selection. Updated in v7.0: 9 new schema columns added, hubble_type converted to RC3 string, float columns strictly typed for pipeline ingestion.- **rotation_curve_corpus_v7_flat.xlsx** — Identical content to the flat CSV, formatted as an Excel worksheet with frozen header row. Regenerated from CSV in v7.0 to ensure full schema alignment.- **rotation_curve_corpus_v7_by_galaxy.zip** — Per-galaxy JSON archive (438 files in SPARC/THINGS/LITTLE_THINGS/WALLABY subdirectories). Each file is self-contained with full corpus metadata. Useful for galaxy-by-galaxy inspection and targeted ingestion workflows.- **corpus_description_sheet_v7.docx** — Full corpus documentation including field definitions, survey provenance, and schema notes.- **READMEv7.md** — Extended documentation covering schema conventions, per-survey column definitions, known limitations, and citation guidance.- **make_v7_jsonl_v1.2.py** — Script that generates rotation_curve_corpus_v7.jsonl from the master JSON. Included for reproducibility.- **clean_v7_json_v1.1.py** — Schema normalization script that produced the v7.0 cleaned JSON. Included for reproducibility.- **update_v7_csv_v1.3.py** — Script that generates the updated flat CSV and XLSX from the master JSON. Included for reproducibility.- **wallaby_ingest.py** — WALLABY DR2 ingestion script (supplementary).- **make_figures_v7.py** — Figure generation script for the companion A&C paper (supplementary).---## Related PublicationFlynn, D.C. & Cannaliato, J.
