资源简介:
This dataset contains three climate reconstructions based on proxy records from the Law Dome ice core record (see https://data.aad.gov.au/metadata/records/DSS_2k_data_compilation). The reconstructions are for the Indian Ocean Dipole Moment Index, the Zonal Wave 3 Index and the Southern Annular Mode. Each reconstruction has been calculated using the Segmented Linear Integral Correlation Kernel EnsembleReconstruction (SLICKER) method, to produce an ensemble of plausible non-linear multi-variate reconstructions. The dataset comprises the central tendency, uncertainty in central tendency, and spread (standard deviation equivalent) of the ensemble over the last 2000 years for each of the reconstructions. More information on the reconstructions and the SLICKER method can be found in the accompanying publication: Roberts, J., Jong, L., McCormack, F., Kiem, A., Curran, M., Moy, A., Macha, J., Plummer, C., French, J. and van Ommen, T.: New insights from an East Antarctic ice core with SLICKER: Segmented Linear Integral Correlation Kernel Ensemble Reconstruction 2025, PLoS ONE, 20(4): e0318825. https://doi.org/10.1371/journal.pone.0318825The three files in this dataset are:DSS_2k_reconstruction_DMI.csv This file contains the 2000 year Indian Ocean Dipole Moment Index reconstruction from DSS ice core stable water isotope, winter centred sea-salt and summer centred sea-salt records.DSS_2k_reconstruction_ZW3.csvThis file contains the 2000 year Zonal Wave 3 Index reconstruction from DSS ice core stable water isotope record.DSS_2k_reconstruction_SAM.csv This file contains the 2000 year Southern Annular Mode reconstruction from DSS ice core stable water isotope and winter centred sea-salt records.
