资源简介:
This collection comprises of images from an Building Recording Survey Level 2 at Rowheath Pavilion, (LB 1438279),Heath Road, Bournville, Birmingham, undertaken by Archaeology England in 2020. The pavilion as well as its adjacent parkland and sport pitches conform the land known as Rowheath Farm purchased by the Cadbury family in 1913. The pavilion was designed by Ramsay Armstrong and was completed in 1924. The building played a central role for several sporting events and was designated in 2017 as a Grade II listed building. Nowadays, the structure houses the Trinity Christian Centre, with a café, a playground among other, acting as a community centre. The survey documented the large proportion of original elements still visible in the building's exterior. Contrastingly, the building's interior has been largely modified - particularly on the first floor - to suit the needs of office space among other. The terrace room as well as the basement and the roof trusses represent the physical remains of the first construction of the building, as well as its original use.
